A new website for a new era!

If you are reading this blog post, then you are looking at the brand-new official website for Truth: The Objective Reality (TTOR).  It's a product that has been 10 years in the making.

Back in 2013,  TTOR started out as a blog on Blogger, Google's blogging site that allows people to make their own blogs.  I would write 1-2 articles a month for this blog before I started getting into making videos in 2015.  I was able to create and maintain this blog for free, but in 2021, Google locked down the original TTOR Blog so that nobody could click on the articles or watch the embedded videos.  The reason?  I committed the thought crime of embedding one single JoshWho TV video into my last blog post on there.

In 2018, I made a TTOR website using FaithLife Sites, which was a website builder primarily for churches looking to build a website for their church.  This new TTOR site was to serve as a place where people could access all my social media accounts, and where they could watch all my presentations as well as livestreams that I hosted.  It was free to build a website on FaithLife Sites, and most of the features on it were free, but I ended up having to pay FaithLife Sites 20 dollars per month just to have the ability to embed my videos into HTML boxes on the site.

I didn't think anything of paying FaithLife Sites 240 dollars a year until I recently started talking with my friend SeekingTheTruth, the founder of JoshWho TV & Loop.  SeekingTheTruth also runs JoshWho Hosting Services, a web-hosting company that offers top-notch servers and hosting packages at way cheaper prices than most of the major hosting companies on the planet.  SeekingTheTruth pointed out to me that I could re-create my TTOR website on his hosting company's website builder, and I would only have to pay three dollars per month to host the site on a small cloud server package that can handle unlimited web traffic.

At that moment, I realized that I had been getting ripped off financially.  It turns out that I could host a better-looking and more functional version of the TTOR Website on a cloud server for only 15 percent of the cost that FaithLife Sites was charging me per month just to have HTML boxes on my site.  It still boggles my mind to think about that even as I write it down.

The best part about this new TTOR site that you are on right now is that it combines all the best parts of the previous TTOR sites, and improves upon it.  Not only are people able to access all my social media accounts, presentations, books, and livestreams from here, but I can now make blog posts again just like I did back in 2013, and Google cannot lock me out of it ever again.
